Follow-up Comment #16, bug #45739 (project octave):

If you choose to cache the limit of the range, then you will probably still
want to store the original value in case Octave needs to display the original
code.

I prefer the second changeset since it fixes the bug in sort but doesn't
change the behavior that the Range::limit function (it still returns the value
of the range limit as it was passed to the Range constructor).
