Details:

Until Version 4.0.0, it was possible to warn (or cause an error) on automatic
broadcasting.

Version 4.0.0 merged warning ID "Octave:automatic-broadcast" into
"Octave:language-extension", which is currently unusable and likely to remain
so for the foreseeable future.

The fix is a one-liner (plus restoring the documentation etc.), but Carnë is
arguing strongly against fixing this bug, and so I won't bother attaching the
patch until there is community support for it.

As a non-maintainer, I can't link this to bug #45761, but the link should be
made.
