URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?46055> Summary: Tick labels should be powers of ten in log plots Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: pantxo Submitted on: sam. 26 sept. 2015 16:42:31 GMT Category: Plotting with OpenGL Severity: 1 - Wish Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Matlab Compatibility Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: dev Operating System: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: Tick labels are currently displayed as %e formats in log axes. I find this ugly (and not ML compatible but that is not so important here) so I'll attach a patch when I have a bug n#. There is a drawback though: until Octave has the ability of printing superscripts (see progress in bug #31468), the image output will be displaying e.g. "10^{2}" which in turn is not better (if not worst) than the current "1e2". _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?46055> _______________________________________________ Message posté via/par Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
