Details:

I have had this problem also in octave 3.8.
I can generate plots as expected but whenever i try to save them octave
crashes.

I don't not get any more infomation than what is included bellow. (attaching
the octave-workspace)


>> plot(1:10)
>> print "q.pdf"
panic: Segmentation fault -- stopping myself...
attempting to save variables to 'octave-workspace'...
save to 'octave-workspace' complete
Segmentation fault (core dumped)



Any ideas?
