Hi,
Thanks for your report. Actually ML doc does not mention the order in which
vertices are returned so it is not clear that Octave should reorder vertices
to follow this behavior.
I leave "Matlab compatibility" as item group for the time being, but we don't
generally consider those undocumented behaviors as hard constraints.
On the other hand if you provide us with a practical case in which the order
of vertices is critical then we could decide to change this in Octave.
Reordering on the basis of the value of the rotational can be vectorized and
the fast.
