Details:
Hello community,
since I need to enable large arrays, when trying to build octave-4.0.0 from
source (tar.gz from ftp) with --enable-64, I got the following error :
./configure --enable-64
[...]
checking for sgemm_ in -lblas... (cached) yes
checking for sgemm_ in -lessl... (cached) no
checking for sgemm_ in -lblas... (cached) yes
checking whether LSAME is called correctly from Fortran... yes
checking whether ISAMAX is called correctly from Fortran... yes
checking whether SDOT is called correctly from Fortran... no
checking whether DDOT is called correctly from Fortran... yes
checking whether CDOTU is called correctly from Fortran... no
checking whether ZDOTU is called correctly from Fortran... no
checking whether the integer size is correct... no
configure: error: BLAS doesn't seem to support 64-bit integers. This is
incompatible with --enable-64.
Same from sources 3.8.2 makes no error.
Actual archtecture (uname -a) :
Linux titipc 3.19.0-33-generic #38-Ubuntu SMP Fri Nov 6 18:18:12 UTC 2015
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Thank's.
Fred
