Follow-up Comment #58, bug #44187 (project octave):

I'm running the default branch, and the size of the eps-files do look to be
called by 72/sceenpixelsperinc (which matlab says is 90, but Octave says is
129).

It is frustrating that during the year I was unable to build on MacOS, changes
were introduced which deviated from the consistency in the implementation for
OpenGL and Gnuplot printing and introduced the many gnuplot bugs.
Unfortunately, after those changes were introduced the directory structure for
script/plot/* was changed and the history of what was done is no longer easy
to figure out from the mercurial archive (I'd really like to back all the
stuff out that broke things and then introduce change sets that accomplish the
desired result without breaking the earlier/cleaner/easier-to-maintain
implementation)
