Follow-up Comment #1:
Works for me with octave-4.1.0+ (development version) on Win7 64bit.
How do you "copy the plot"?
Do you use the "copy to clipboard" menu item, or Ctrl-C *in the active gnuplot
pane* (i.e., does Ctrl-C land in the gnuplot window)? (If Ctrl-C were to land
in the terminal you might expect problems.)
