Follow-up Comment #15, bug #45507 (project octave):

@Marco: It might be possible to use Fortran libraries, but jwe would need to
sign off on that.  In general, we try to link against more modern code like
libc, but libc doesn't have an acos function which accepts complex inputs or
any inputs outside the domain [-1,1].
