Follow-up Comment #75, bug #46795 (project octave):

Linearly, but with big steps, only stepping changesets from Torsten and you.
Once I have a hit, I can bisect back from there. I can cross-build & try 2
versions per evening ... (currently I'm at 7ebc9f38b312 "use standard message
box for discarding/restoring breakpoints while saving a file"

It occurred to me that I also need to build w/o the cs of patch #8656 (I make
heavily use of the Variable Editor as long as it builds in the dev tree), to
be sure that it doesn't interfere. I'll try that tonight with the development
tip.
Can you tell me exactly where your patch fits in with respect to the
development tree? can I apply (=locally to my tree, != push to repo) it w/o
fear of screwing up?

(Ah, but as you are Down Under I'll just try, if BOOM! I'll have to wait until
tomorrow for your reply :-)
