Follow-up Comment #8, bug #39257 (project octave):
Quentin, the fix requires patching the source and recompiling.
Is there a reason you can't do that, or is it just that you have never done it
before? What OS are you running? If you have time, I could try to talk you
through the steps.
I've also attached an updated patch; the previous one failed when returning
non-scalar structures.
