Follow-up Comment #1:
How long did you wait for the plot window to appear? Several users have
reported that the first plot may take anywhere from 30 seconds to a couple
minutes to appear, something to do with a font cache being compiled.
If you wait longer and the plot finally appears normally, this is a known
issue (not sure if it has a resolution).
