Follow-up Comment #1, bug #47185 (project octave): For examples of annoying "missing" arrows in this and other images, (1) look at the before- image and the 4th arrow from the left on the backward edge - you can see how it's fixed in the after- image. There are many more such arrows if you look closely. (2) Here's a real-world example: http://woahwoah.ballerterran.com/images/B_field_coil.png posted by remo - this magnetic field is missing directional arrows, hindering the image "readability."
