Details:

I have installed Octave 4.0.0 with gui.
I can successfully generate images but not save them.
The errors are:
>> 2016-03-19 19:18:57.894 octave-gui[16399:507] modalSession has been exited
prematurely - check for a reentrant call to endModalSession:
warning: print.m: fig2dev binary is not available.
Some output formats are not available.
warning: called from
    __print_parse_opts__ at line 385 column 9
print at line 288 column 8
error: print: printing not available without gl2ps library
error: called from
print at line 439 column 9

gl2ps IS installed and was installed at the time Octave 4.0.0 was installed.
I try to reinstall it and get this message:
mbp-de-peter:~ petervondassow$ brew install gl2ps
Warning: gl2ps-1.3.9 already installed
Apparently the latest version.

I notice many bug reports related to this but no solution that actually works
for me.

How do I get Octave to recognise the gl2ps library?

Thanks in advance!
