Follow-up Comment #97, bug #47372 (project octave):

When I run octave-gui directly and step through the startup process, I see it
exiting the second time memcpy is called at line 965 in TerminalView.cpp.  I
have no idea why this is happening.  The address sanitizer provides a
replacement for memcpy but looking at that doesn't give me much of a clue.
