Follow-up Comment #120, bug #47372 (project octave):

Also, the crash only happens for me using the address sanitizer build.  If I
use a normal build I don't see a crash even when running all the demos.

And, the crash happened when I was running Octave over an ssh connection from
a system with an AMD graphics card to a system with an Nvidia card.

When I ran the demos directly on the system with the Nvidia card, I didn't see
the crash, even with the address sanitizer build.  This system is using the
nouveau driver.
