Follow-up Comment #11, bug #47676 (project octave):
Carlo, I agree that Matlab's response of throwing an error is better than
Octave's of silently giving the wrong answer.
If Octave did "proceed with an unexpected value assigned to Csb", then I would
consider it very much worse. However, this issue only affects the printing of
the non-semicolon "Csb /2". If we actually do anything with the value (like
using it in an assignment or function call), then I think Octave parses it
correctly.
