Follow-up Comment #46, bug #47974 (project octave):

There are a whole set of examples of the use of the patch function at
http://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/patch.html. I started trying some of
them with the gnuplot toolkit and I run in to hard errors, not just visual
differences.  For example,

v = [2 0; 3 0; 3 1];
f = [1 2 3];
c = [1 0 0; % red
    0 1 0; % green
    0 0 1]; % blue
patch('Faces',f,'Vertices',v,'FaceVertexCData',c,...
    'EdgeColor','flat','FaceColor','none','LineWidth',2);
error: vertical dimensions mismatch (3x3 vs 1x1)
error: called from
    __gnuplot_draw_axes__ at line 1055 column 32
    __gnuplot_draw_figure__ at line 172 column 17
    __gnuplot_drawnow__ at line 86 column 5

I can file a new bug report about this, or continue on in this one. What is
the preference?
