Follow-up Comment #1, bug #48333 (project octave):
If it works without ops.h, then I assume it doesn't actually need any of the
macros that are defined by ops.h. Is that correct? If so, I think the best
thing to do is fix the sources in the sockets package to not include ops.h.
That change should probably be made even if we decide to continue installing
ops.h for other packages that actually do need it.
