Follow-up Comment #58, bug #48172 (project octave):

Thanks Rik.  It didn't occur to me that the macro on the failing line would be
a problem.  What I don't get is that some people said that there were just
periodic and apparently random failures.  Maybe that was something else?

It is still a bug in Texinfo 5 though, because it works fine with 6.x.  But I
agree it is OK to fix in Octave since the @nospell macro is not critical for
us.
