Follow-up Comment #5:

This seems likely to have been addressed in the development version of Octave
scheduled for release as 4.2.0 in September.

Can anyone verify this is the case with a dev version of MXE-Octave and the
Convergentfield.m script?

In any case, I am lowering the severity to 3 as this bug shouldn't stop the
4.2 release.
