Follow-up Comment #4, bug #44624 (project octave): I don't think that the dependency on cmake should be handled. This package is dependent on gcdm which required Cmake to build. And gdcm provides cmake project files for any dependent to use so it is a dependent. If the user does not want to have cmake, then it can configure the flags himself.
