Follow-up Comment #8, bug #41780 (project octave):

Is this bug about transparency of grid lines in OpenGL graphics?
If so, file #37872 in bug #48429 might solve this issue.

I haven't found this bug until after having posted the changeset in the other
bug report. If you prefer, I could split of the part affecting transparency
from the other patch. Although, it would imho make sense to fix the two things
together because it requires very similar changes on the same lines of code.
