@Lachlan: I applied your simple patch for Ctrl+PgUp here ().

Incidentally, in my ~/.config/octave/qt-settings I also have these:


editor_tabs%3Amove_tab_left=Alt+PgDown
editor_tabs%3Amove_tab_right=Alt+PgUp


Is that just random?  It seems like these should also be oppositely defined. 
I deleted them and it seems that the default is now to have Alt+PgUp move
left.  Maybe Octave had originally configure that key combination rather than
Ctrl+PgUp.

Marking as fixed and closing.
