Details:

OS : Microsoft windows
Version : 4.0 and dev
octave : GUI
graphics_toolkit : gnuplot
gnuplot terminal : windows, wxt


>> setenv GNUTERM windows
>> graphics_toolkit gnuplot
>> plot (1:10)


On plot window, press space key
 => pop-up hidden console!

Note
1. The gnuplot has a feature some keys press on plot window execute gnuplot
actions.

Press 'h' key on plot window displays the key and mouse binding on console.

According to the above, space key is binding to  


raise gnuplot console window


Perhaps this gnuplot action makes pop-up hidden console on windows 

2. On linux, noting happen by pressing space key on plot window.


3. On qt terminal, press space key does not work on all platform so that
causes any problem.


4. On cli mode press space key raise octave command console.  This is the same
as that on the linux.
