Follow-up Comment #8, bug #48428 (project octave): This thread concentrates on object creation with javaObject. But there are still static methods and fields. Semmingly matlab does not allow static methods invoked in java style like java.lang.System.load(...) but i am not sure... What about set and get fields? is java.lang.Double.MAX_VALUE possible?
