Follow-up Comment #5, bug #48726 (project octave): > we should consider libinterp/corefcn/strfns.cc, where the octave functions are implemented. There is a similar implementation like in comment #2 in line 686. I think we can avoid some code duplication here. Absolutely. I noted the same.
