Follow-up Comment #4, bug #49003 (project octave):

In the __gnuplot_has_feature__.m file is "dashtype" feature for greater than
or equal to version 5.0.  So, hopefully, the gnuplot_toolkit scripts know
enough to use the dashtype route, it's just that it hasn't realized
"termoption dashed" isn't needed if the dashtype is present.  So let me
simplify the changeset, since "dashtype" and "lost_termoption_dashed" are
really synonyms.  Try the attached.
