Details:
With version 2.4.0 of io it was possible to read äöüß° from xlsx using
OCT interface:
pkg load io;
xls = xlsopen ("foobar2.xlsx", 0, "OCT");
ret = xls2oct (xls, "Tabelle1", "A1:A3")
xlsclose (xls);
Checking requested interface(s):
OCT*; (* = default interface)
ret =
{
[1,1] = 90°
[2,1] = äöü
[3,1] = 1234
}
