Follow-up Comment #4, bug #49211 (project octave):
@Mike: you're right. I just tried with version 4.0.2 that I had lying
around.
[a,b,c] = waitpid (-1)
a = -1
b = 0
c = waitpid: not supported on this system
One choice, if we can't get a gnulib wrapper to work, would be to simply let
the child zombie army grow until it is finally reaped when Octave is closed.
