Follow-up Comment #18, bug #49223 (project octave):
That works. sed is a pretty powerful script...
I've found a broader bug when investigating this issue. It applies to all
toolkits. When the axes has a "color" property of "none", there are no
objects found that can be plotted and the print.m code doesn't account for
that an throws an error. I was going to post here, but decided to open a new
report given its scope is all toolkits, not just gnuplot:
