Follow-up Comment #25, bug #49223 (project octave):

I pushed the tiny cset to get rid of the old code for 4.2.5.  I guess that
leaves writing a little Octave function to do the search and replace on the
generated .tex file.  When should it be invoked?  I believe it is only
required for the gnuplot toolkit whenever "latex" is in the device name.  Does
the "standalone" option make a difference?
