Follow-up Comment #2, bug #49261 (project octave): @Ethan: Have you compiled Octave yourself or from a repo via package manager (apt-get/aptitude/yum/whatever)? Do you see the segfault only when using gnuplot as graphics_toolkit or does it also segfault if you use qt or fltk? Do you start Octave with the GUI? If yes then try it without GUI "octave --no-gui" and report here. Can you create a gdb backtrace?
