Follow-up Comment #23, bug #49216 (project octave): Whatever was used for these https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=38687 https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=38688 has a lot of space between numbers, e.g., "11" and "14". But the example here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verdana seems more natural as far as spacing/tracking.
