Follow-up Comment #7, bug #49053 (project octave):

Sebastian, I am surprised that people propose here and there to distribute Qt5
builds. Considering the first Octave/Qt5 binaries have come out a few weeks
(mounth?) ago on linux and Mac do you think this a sufficient amount of
time/testing? 
At least this very bug shows that being able to build Octave with Qt5 is not
the end of the story.
