Follow-up Comment #6:

I think this bug report is "resolved" in spirit, someone who is interested in
writing down the solution is encouraged to submit a patch to wrap the publish
test code in an unwind_protect block and set the toolkit to gnuplot so it is
not affected by problems with OSMesa.
