Follow-up Comment #16, bug #49509 (project octave): Typing or pasting Umlaut characters in the command window still doesn't work in Windows 10 (and never has as far as I can tell). There might be a problem with how we use stdin? But I can't figure out what it is. All non-ASCII characters seem to be eaten up by WriteConsoleInput and never make it to the console...
