Follow-up Comment #28, bug #48387 (project octave):
Confirmed; congratulations !
The LD_PRELOAD is needed because with the dev version the run_path
contains a spurious /usr/lib64:
chrpath -l ./libinterp/.libs/liboctinterp.so
./libinterp/.libs/liboctinterp.so:
RPATH=/home/ederag/share/prog/octave/dev/octave-pristine-patched/build-/liboctave/.libs:/usr/local/gcc-6.2.0_binutils-2.27_isl/lib64:/usr/local/gcc-6.2.0_binutils-2.27_isl/lib64/../lib64:/usr/lib64:/usr/local/gcc-6.2.0_binutils-2.27_isl/lib64/octave/4.3.0+:/usr/local/gcc-6.2.0_binutils-2.27_isl/lib64:/usr/local/build/gl2ps-1.3.9-svn-20161111-source
This is not the case for 4.2.0-rc4
(unpatched, but this is probably not relevant):
chrpath -l ./libinterp/.libs/liboctinterp.so
./libinterp/.libs/liboctinterp.so:
RPATH=/usr/local/build/octave-4.2.0-rc4/build-/liboctave/.libs:/usr/local/gcc-6.2.0_binutils-2.27_isl/lib64:/usr/local/gcc-6.2.0_binutils-2.27_isl/lib64/../lib64:/usr/local/gcc-6.2.0_binutils-2.27_isl/lib64/octave/4.2.0-rc4
"2 setlinecap" on axis borders would make better axis joints (corners) than
current default.
Does it deserve a separate report, or maybe am I missing something ?
