Follow-up Comment #2, bug #49612 (project octave):
I am running Windows 10 and possibly suspect the issue is due to the hidpi
scaling (200% or 2x) in my case. However, the odd things is that it so far
only seem to be a problem for the radiobuttons and checkmarks (checkboxes,
text, and everything else seems ok). And it worked in 4.0. Here is an image
showing the issue, 4.0.3 on the left and 4.2 on the right

For dpi I get 133.77 and pixels is 1368 x 912 (which is exactly 1/2 the real
resolution due to hidpi scaling). The (3:2 ratio) screen diagonal is 12.3
inches 312 mm or so.
