Follow-up Comment #3, bug #49700 (project octave):
Just to point out that I've got more insights on when this was happening: If I
start a freshly compiled Octave with the GUI, __have_gnuplot__ behaves
correctly, then I recompile in the background incorporating the new changes
from dev and __have_gnuplot__ becomes a nohop. Nothing to worry I presume but
I am reassured I was not dreaming.
