URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?49739> Summary: zooming in subplot with many data points causes crash Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: None Submitted on: Tue 29 Nov 2016 08:37:33 PM UTC Category: Plotting with OpenGL Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Crash Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Charalambos Originator Email: address@hidden Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 4.2.0 Operating System: Microsoft Windows _______________________________________________________ Details: I had my script produce a subplot and maybe the background memory is low I am not sure as I have a few applications running and my data as you can see is many points. The subplot window when I zoomed in after the second time crashed. Not sure why or what caused this. I wanted to check for similar bugs but was not sure exactly how to refine my search lest this is a duplicate. Also how do I search with key words for bugs in savannah because the annoying thing is also that when you are searching for bugs it is not obvious how to focus on the specific project and then within that project go into a key word search eliminating irrelevant bugs. The only option is the text in the search, then in projects then press search but other than that nothing. Any tips I am using windows 10. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Tue 29 Nov 2016 08:37:33 PM UTC Name: octave4.2crash-upon-zooming-subplot-Qt-plot.png Size: 174kB By: None <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=39103> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?49739> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
