URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?49919> Summary: ode45 event problem, event active at initial time Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: billgreene Submitted on: Fri 23 Dec 2016 02:50:08 PM GMT Category: Octave Function Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Incorrect Result Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 4.2.0 Operating System: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: This is a bug I've been working on but don't yet have a solution. So I'm submitting this hoping the solution is obvious to someone with more experience with this code. In this example, the event condition is active at the initial time and the code terminates in the first step. But according to matlab docs, the first step is supposed to be handled specially so that termination doesn't occur until the next time the event becomes active. I've attached a simple example of this. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fri 23 Dec 2016 02:50:09 PM GMT Name: event_first_step.m Size: 626B By: billgreene <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=39300> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?49919> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
