Status: None => Fixed

Follow-up Comment #1:
Happily, this has already been fixed on the development branch of Octave.
Unfortunately it probably won't be backported because there were a number of
other changes to the display of axes which would be hard to disentangle.
You can build from sources through MXE to see the changes, or wait until the
4.4 release of Octave.
