Details:

HG ID for this build is "7c7a61c2e0ed"
In this build a plot which has a line drawn coincident (on top of)
a grid line appears on the screen. However, the line does not
appear in the PDF output.
Using version 4.0.3 (Fedora release) the line does not appear either on screen
nor PDF.
