Follow-up Comment #26, bug #50102 (project octave):

FWIW, the error surrounding dlmread() seems to have gone away for what I am
using it for.  I'm pretty sure I had isolated the error to csvread()--which is
only a single instruction call to dlmread()--by surrounding that csvread()
call with prints to the screen.  There have been a fair amount of changes in
just the past week, so about all that can be said is that something appears to
have been fixed.

J.K., if you are still following, when you get a chance, please try your
original problematic code to see if the error has cleared.  If so, then we can
close this bug report.
