Also, what does Matlab do if you just execute

?  Does it pass "ans" in as the second argument to display (if display is
defined to take 2 arguments)?  Does it arrange for intputname(1) to return
"ans"?  And, is it left to the display method to print the "ans = " line, or
does Matlab do that prior to the call to the display method?
