URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?50717> Summary: textscan swallows ever growing part inside for-loops Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: dirixmjm Submitted on: Tue 04 Apr 2017 03:27:57 PM UTC Category: Octave Function Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Inaccurate Result Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Marc Dirix Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 4.2.1 Operating System: Microsoft Windows _______________________________________________________ Details: I'm using textscan as a line-parser inside a while-loop. With reading each line the cursor seems to shift an ever more of the next line is swallowed. Please find attached a minimal example m-file with touchstone datafile. I have tested the same code in matlab, which works as expected. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Tue 04 Apr 2017 03:27:57 PM UTC Name: P_1_2.s2p Size: 364kB By: dirixmjm <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=40263> ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Tue 04 Apr 2017 03:27:57 PM UTC Name: textscanTest.m Size: 275B By: dirixmjm <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=40264> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?50717> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
