Hi, thanks for filing this bug report. I believe this is a known bug that is
already tracked, see https://github.com/cbm755/octsympy/issues/10 and
https://github.com/cbm755/octsympy/issues/633.
As a workaround you can use subs, matlabFunction, or function_handle to
evaluate a function on a set of points.
