Follow-up Comment #9, bug #51103 (project octave): You caught that ahead of me, Dmitri. It is 'qt' that is the default. I didn't think of what the -f option means. So 'qt' works, but sometimes the Qt plot hangs--that's the plot itself that is freezing, not the command line.
