URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?51301> Summary: Command line generates blank space at random. Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: None Submitted on: Fri 23 Jun 2017 08:28:13 PM UTC Category: GUI Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Unexpected Error Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 4.2.1 Operating System: Microsoft Windows _______________________________________________________ Details: While Using Octave GUI, the command line will irregularly add what appears to be a new line to the current line. In practice, the current command being typed is continued onto this "new line" while there really isn't a new line being added. The only functionality this impedes is moving from the "new line" to what was already typed; the user is limited to edit what is on the "new line" and cannot change the current command without starting over. The attached file is an example of what is occurring to the best ability of a screenshot to capture. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fri 23 Jun 2017 08:28:13 PM UTC Name: octaveCommandLineBug.PNG Size: 2kB By: None <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=41035> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?51301> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
